In 1994, Professor of English and American History, Elaine Scarry of Harvard University, delivered the Georgetown Law Center’s fourteenth Annual Philip A. Hart Memorial Lecture: "Thinking in an Emergency."
Elaine Scarry is the Walter M. Cabot Professor of Aesthetics and the General Theory of Value at Harvard University.
