About the Scholarly Commons
Georgetown Law’s Scholarly Commons is a showcase of the scholarly endeavors of its faculty members. It serves as a repository for their works and the products of the various institutes and centers that are a hallmark of Georgetown Law. The Scholarly Commons brings together the intellectual output of the Law Center, with the goal of providing access to this material and preserving it. It includes pre-prints and final copies of working papers; journal articles; selected papers prepared for research seminars; papers from conferences; and, as it grows, a variety of other content types. Materials from the Scholarly Commons are automatically included in the bepress Legal Repository.
The Scholarly Commons is administered by the Georgetown Law Library. Librarians work with faculty members and the directors of institutes and centers to gather, describe and upload scholarly materials.
The Scholarly Commons utilizes the Digital Commons software licensed from the Berkeley Electronic Press (bepress).
