The Center on Privacy & Technology

The Center on Privacy & Technology is a think tank focused on the impact of government and corporate surveillance on the possibility of democratic self governance. The Privacy Center undertakes and supports research, analysis and advocacy to expose and mitigate the impacts of mass surveillance on historically marginalized communities. This series features reports, white papers and scholarly writing by Center staff, faculty affiliates, students and other collaborators on a wide range of legal, political and ethical issues arising from the increasing permeation of surveillance technologies throughout the systems and institutions most crucial to the public interest, in both domestic and international contexts. All papers in this series were produced in connection with the Center on Privacy & Technology at Georgetown Law.
