The Health Justice Alliance (HJA) series features the Alliance's research and scholarship on medical-legal partnership, interprofessional education, and health equity. As a University-based academic medical-legal partnership (MLP) focused on training the next generation of health and justice leaders to work collaboratively in pursuit of health justice, HJA engages in interdisciplinary research efforts to capture the impact of MLP on learners, providers, patients, and communities, and share best practices to contribute to the national and academic MLP movements and advance health equity.
